The RIPTIDE is an Ocean Master 27. This rock-solid hull that is arguably the strongest on the market. Some call it overkill. But when you’re 100 miles from shore and the seas kick up, we think you’ll agree that it is the ONLY way to build a sportfishing boat.

This awesome vessel is a whole new category of fishing boat! With the Ocean Master 27 you no longer must choose between a bay boat and a larger offshore boat. The Ocean Master 27 allows you to fish both, without compromise! Huge open decks, and a snag free layout allows you to quickly move around the boat and make that critical cast or launch a fly at a trophy fish.

The RIPTIDE is powered by Twin 2023 Mercury Marine 225hp Four Strokes. The RIPTIDE is rigged with state of the art, fully integrated Raymarine electronics including 2 MASSIVE Axiom 2 16-inch Color Chartplotters, Cyclone Pro 4′ Open Array Radar, CHIRP & Side Vison Sonar, NAVIONICS Platinum+ Charts and FLIR Thermal Imaging (Night Vision).

With safety being paramount, the most advanced safety equipment is featured, including an SLSE 6 Person Life Raft, ACR GPS EPIRB Satellite Rescue Beacon, In-Reach Satellite Communicator, Offshore First Aid Kit including an AED (Defibrillator), Offshore Pyrotechnics and Offshore Life Vests far exceeding what is required by the USCG. We also have a private head in the console for your convenience.

All this equipment helps to get you on the fish quickly, comfortably and safely.

The Gear

Riptide Charters will provide you with top quality light tackle rods from Duckett and reels from Daiwa, as well as Fly Equipment by ORVIS.

Riptide Charters also features a full complement of Daiwa Saltiga stand-up and offshore spinning gear for tuna fishing. The RIPTIDE is outfitted with top quality tackle from Hogy Lures and Rapala.

As always, there is plenty of room onboard for your own favorite rods and reels if you choose to bring them.
